Young athletes Ebilities Diengdoh and Monica Nongrum along with delegation met Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma. They will represent the country from May 10-19 this year in Muaythai championship.
The delegation met the Chief Minister in presence of Sports Minister Banteidor Lyngdoh. They are set to represent India at the IFMA world championship of Muaythai at Cancun, Mexico.
The athletes in Muaythai have excelled and brought medals for the State in the recently concluded 3rd MBAI India National Muaythai Championsip 2017-18 and 1st National Pro-Am Title Belt 2018 held at SAI Indoor Stadium, NEHU campus, Shillong held in November last year.
