43 Assam Rifles observed World Disabled Day under aegis of 22 Sector Assam Rifles of HQ IGAR (E) in Haflong, Dima Hasao district, Assam on March 15.
Various programs were organized at New Zoar LP School, Mahur, Chhoto Washiling 2, Block Bazar and at St Agnes Convent School, Haflong, district Dima Hasao, Assam.
A total of 135 students including 15 specially-abled children attended the program.
The organizers aim to create awareness about various Government schemes available for specially-abled children along with distribution of gifts.
Concerned school authorities, students and villagers expressed their heartfelt gratitude for organizing the events.
