AGARTALA: The BJP in Tripura has announced its candidates for the upcoming elections to the lone Rajya Sabha seat from the state.
The BJP has nominated its Tripura chief Rajeev Bhattacharya as the candidate for the polls to the lone Rajya Sabha seat from the state.
On the other hand, the CPI-M has also announced its candidate for the upcoming elections.
CPI-M nominated former MLA Sudhan Das as its candidate for Rajya Sabha polls in Tripura.
It may be mentioned here that election to the lone Rajya Sabha seat from Tripura will be held on September 02.
