The Anti Corruption Department of the Assam Government on Monday arrested Dwipen Sharma, Treasurer and Assistant Accountant of Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra.
Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra is a cultural institution located in Panjabari Guwahati. It includes a cultural museum, library and various facilities for preserving, demonstrating and performing cultural items, besides a children’s park.
Allegedly, Sabin Rajkhowa, the former Secretary of Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra is likely to be detained for questioning next week.
According to sources, Rajkhowa has already filed for a pre-arrest bail in the Supreme Court of India in this connection.
