250 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in Sikkim.   

The new cases have pushed the State’s tally up to 15,876.   

Of the new 250 cases, 100 were detected in East Sikkim, 107 in South Sikkim, 41 in West Sikkim and 2 in North Sikkim district.   

The Himalayan state now has 4103 active cases.

These new cases in Sikkim have been detected after testing 2765 samples.   

The new cases in Sikkim have been detected at a positivity rate of 9.04%.   

Moreover, Sikkim has logged three more COVID-19 deaths.   

With these three new death cases, the COVID-19 death toll in Sikkim has risen to 260.

11,299 people in the State have so far recovered from the disease.    

Meanwhile, 214 coronavirus-positive patients have migrated to other states.
