A Mobile Testing Booth for RT-PCR was inaugurated by Sikkim health minister, Dr M K Sharma at Rangpo checkpost in East Sikkim on Saturday.
The mobile testing booth at the gateway of Sikkim is donated by Krishna Rai, wife of chief minister P S Golay.
The minister was accompanied by director general-cum-secretary of Health Department along with senior officials from the Health Department and line departments.
On the occasion, the team has also made a joint inspection of Rangpo check-post and Rangpo public ground, which has been identified as the tentative screening site for the people entering Sikkim after the lifting of lockdown.
