Nagaland registered six more new cases of COVID-19 positive on Tuesday.
With this the total number of positive cases in the State went up to 49.
This was informed by state health minister S Pangnyu Phom in his Twitter handle on Tuesday.
Phom tweeted:
‘Update! Out of 90 samples tested from Chennai returnees, 5 Male & 1 Female has tested COVID-19 +ve. All cases are from Dimapur.
Positive : 49
Active : 49
Recovered : 00
Death : 00
Update at: 08:10 am, 02nd June, 2020.’
All the six infected persons have returned from Chennai recently.
Among the six infected, five are male and one female.
All the cases are from Dimapur.
They are among the 90 samples tested of Chennai returnees.
