Mizoram reported 3 more deaths due to Covid19 infection and 527 new positive cases in the last 24 hours.
With the death of 3 more patients, Mizoram’s Covid19 death toll increased to 295 on Monday.
Mizoram so far has reported a total of 88,683 Covid19 positive cases.
Of the new cases, two cases were found positive during TrueNAT test while 525 cases were detected positive during Rapid Antigen Test (RAgT).
The positivity rate stood at 31.77% on Monday.

According to the health bulletin updated by the department of information and public relations, Mizoram at 5 pm on Sunday, a total of 765 patients recovered from the deadly infection.
Of the recoveries, Aizawl district recorded 415, Lawngtlai-132, Kolasib-74, Mamit-66, Khawzawl-27, Serchhip-16, Hnahthial-15, Champhai-14 and Lunglei district recorded 6 recoveries.
The recovery rate stood at 81.76%.
Mizoram so far has recorded a total of 72,913 recoveries.
Mizoram currently has a total of 15,485 active Covid19 cases.
Of the total active cases in Mizoram, Aizawl district has 10,984 cases, Lunglei – 675, Siaha – 1,071, Champhai – 531, Kolasib – 443, Serchhip – 526, Lawngtlai – 676, Mamit – 378, Khawzawl – 89, Hnahthial – 96 and Saitual has 16 active cases.
On Sunday, Mizoram reported 2 deaths due to Covid19 infection.
Mizoram reported 1,478 Covid19 positive cases on Sunday.
The state recorded the positivity rate at 17.96%.
