An 18-year-old died after a collision between a pick-up truck and motorcycle that took place at Katalbari of South West Garo Hills in Meghalaya on Tuesday evening.
The person who died in the accident was riding a motorcycle along with another person accompanying him.
The deceased was identified as Romeo Koch while the injured pillion was identified as Polison Koch.

The incident happened on the evening of Tuesday when the motorcycle bearing registration AS17D4148 met with a head-on collision with a truck bearing registration number ML08F3215 resulting in the death of the rider on the spot.
The other person with the biker was severely injured in the accident and was immediately taken to the Garobadha PHC for treatment.

As per reports, following the accident, the driver in the truck escaped from the location.
