Powerful IED recovered in Manipur

A powerful Improvised Explosive Device (IED) weighing three kg was recovered at Khoyathong in Manipur’s Imphal on Thursday.

The security personnel detected the bomb and immediately informed the bomb disposal team at Imphal who rushed to the spot and exploded it, the police said.

They said unidentified militants had planted the IEDs in an attempt to attack the security personnel.
