The two pilots of the Sukhoi 30 MKI fighter that crashed near Tezpur in Assam on Thursday last are now undergoing treatment.

While one of the pilots has been sent to the Kolkata military hospital and the other critically injured admitted at Tezpur 155 base hospital, official sources said.
The two pilots safely ejected themselves after the jet crashed on Thursday evening at Tezpur Milonpur.
According to defence spokesperson Lt Col Harsh Wardhan Pande, both pilots, wing commander P Sharnta and squardon leader Ishant Mishra are now out of danger.
He said wing commander P Shantra has been send to Kolkata for better treatment on Friday morning.
Mishra whose left leg was cut and now in critical condition has been admitted at 155 base hospital Tezpur.
The IAF officials and senior officers on Friday visited the spot and collected the black box from the paddy field.
The area has been totally cordoned off by the security forces.
Locals who witnessed the incident immediately took the two pilots to Army Base Hospital, Tezpur for their treatment after the incident on Thursday night.
The fighter jet took off from Tezpur Salonibari Air Force Station for a routine sorties mission.
Meanwhile, Pande also said a court of inquiry has been ordered on the incident.
