A music video on coronovirus awareness entitled ‘Akiba Laanda Amani‘ (A fearful battle) was released in Imphal, sources said on Thursday.
The state chief minister N Biren Singh released the music video in the presence of deputy chief minister Yumnm Joykumar Singh, ministers L Jayentakumar and Karam Shyam and MLA L Surindro at the chief minister’s bungalow in Imphal on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister praised the efforts of music fraternity and different sections of the society in creating awareness regarding coronovirus.
The music video was produced with a view to create awareness among the general public of government advisories on coronovirus and important messages of ‘Stay Home, Stay Safe, Wash Hands regularly, Maintain Social Distancing’ etc, noted lyricist Narendra Ningomba who wrote the song said.
The five-minute music album sung by playback singer Swamikumar Oinam, is produced by M Chanu Imoinu of Sileima Productions and its music director was Rhythm Thiyam.
The number of viewers of the music video rose to more than 30,000 few hours after the song which was transcribed into English by Dr R K Nimai, a retired IAS officer, was shared on the YouTube.
