Deliberating on Naga peace talks in a meeting chaired by Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Tuesday, political parties of the state unanimously decided to protect the territorial integrity of the state.

The meeting was called four days after Nagaland governor RN Navi, who is also the Naga peace process manager, said the Centre is determined to conclude the decades-long peace process without delay.

“The meeting held at CM’s secretariat decided to protect the territorial integrity of Manipur,” infomred a Manipur government source.

The source further informed that the meeting was attended by the representatives of 25 political parties.

It was also decided in the meeting to send a delegation to urge the Centre, urging it to see that the Naga peace talks don’t disturb Manipur’s integrity.
