A suspected low-intensity improvised explosive device (IED) exploded in Manipur on Thursday evening.
The explosion took place at the residential area of Khurai Ahong Leikai under Porompat Police Station in Imphal East.
No casualty has been reported in the blast so far.
An Imphal East District Police team rushed to the spot immediately after the blast took place.
A case has been registered at the Porompat Police Station.
