Manipur’s COVID-19 situation continues to be grim as the State on Sunday logged as many as 9 deaths relating to the deadly disease.
With these 9 new COVID-19 deaths, Manipur’s COVID-19 death tally has risen to 881.
On the other hand, Manipur registered over 800 new COVID-19 cases.
As many as 823 new COVID-19 cases have emerged in Manipur.

Of these 823 new cases, 417 are male and 404 are female.
Moreover, two cases have also emerged from the Central Armed Paramilitary Forces deployed in the State.
With the detection of these 823 new COVID-19 cases, Manipur’s active cases tally has jumped to 9184.
Of the total 9184 active COVID-19 cases in Manipur, 9177 are from the general public and 7 are from the Central Armed Paramilitary Forces deployed in the State.

Meanwhile, the total COVID–19 cases in Manipur have also risen to 55230.
As many as 646 persons have also recovered from COVID-19.
Manipur’s COVID-19 recovery rate stands at 81.77%.
