Red Bull Music is collaborating with various Indian hip-hop artists from the Northeast as well as different parts of India to bring together a unique blend of hip hop music and folk culture. The music festival will take place on Sunday, February 25 at Guwahati.
The vibrant music scene in the northeast is one of the reasons, it is a favoured locations for artists from all over the world to perform.
The recent advent of famed musician and bands from all over the world has exposed the people of the music loving region to a number of musical forms and genres, further enhancing the musical credibility of the area.
One such musical endeavour is Red Bull Music who organize and manage music festivals across the globe.
Veteran Indian hip-hop artists such as Raftaar & Divine along with rapper Borkung Hrangkhwal who hails from Tripura and Khasi Bloodz , a rap group from Shillong are set to entertain audiences with hip-hop music.
The music festival will also provide an opportunity to budding rappers and hip-hop artists of the northeast region to showcase their talents on a global platform.
