Speaking at the Namami Bharat webinar, organised by Rotaract & Interact District 3240, BJP MP Subramaniyan Swamy highly praised the Ahom dynasty for standing up against the Mughals and defeating them.
He called them pride of India and focused on including it in national textbooks.
He emphasized that northeast equally fought for the freedom of India in a great way.
Swamy also spoke on historic wrongs and the solutions to correct it and focus on the need for empowering youth and new technology.
He also advocated abolishing income tax, lower lending rates and increasing fixed deposit return rate.
He urged the youth to focus on rural areas by bringing changes in agriculture sector by brining Israel model of drip irrigation, soil health card etc.
He praised the role of Indian in world affairs be in IT Sector or Health sector or political sector. He urged the youth not to fear failures & have a positive mind-set.
He applauded the New Education Policy.
He also urged the parents to encourage their children to learn Sanskrit.
The webinar titled Independence Day on India: Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow was organised to mark 74th Independence Day.
