The Dibrugarh unit of the All Assam Students’ Union staged a protest demonstration in Dibrugarh on Tuesday demanding implementation of Assamese as official language in all the government offices, educational institutions and business establishments. Police had to intervene when the AASU members tried to smudge the banners and sign boards with black colours.
