A 55-year-old cable Tv operator in Tezpur allegedly committed suicide by hanging on Friday due to some complicacy arising out while getting his cable network migrate to a new framework notified by TRAI.
Cable operator Prabhas alias Chinu was working as LCO in Tezpur Cable Network for last 23 years.
Prabhas in the suicide note which was recovered from the spot said that the harassment faced by him in running the cable TV business forced him to take the extreme step.
He alleged that he faced a lot of problems in migration process of the cable network but his service provider did not extend him any support despite repeated requests.
Tezpur Cable Network is associated with Axom Cable Communication (ACC), a joint venture of Siti Cable.
