The 12-day long ‘Trans Arunachal Drive 2021’ on Monday winded up at Tawang, with participants reaching the place after spending much time on the roads exploring the state’s rich diversity.

Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu was present on the occasion.

Khandu had flagged off the Trans Arunachal Drive at the Golden Pagoda in Namsai on April 7 as part of the ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ campaign of the state tourism department to revive the tourism sector.

The tourism sector of the state has been badly hit by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

Participants participating in the Trans Arunachal Drive 2021 travelled through 16 districts to experience the rich culture of different tribes inhabiting the districts and explore the tourism potential of different exotic locations of the state.
