A group of Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) troopers have been allegedly ‘intercepted’ by jawans of the Indian Army.

The PLA troopers were allegedly ‘intercepted’ at Bum La in Arunachal Pradesh.

A video is doing the rounds in the social media where the Indian Army jawans are seen interacting face to face with the PLA troopers asking them to return back to Chinese territory.

However, Northeast Now cannot independently verify the authenticity of the video doing the rounds in the social media.

This alleged ‘interception’ of Chinese PLA troopers inside Indian territory in Arunachal Pradesh comes amid fresh diplomatic friction between the two countries after China ‘renamed’ 15 places in the frontier state.

Meanwhile, reacting to China’s ‘renaming’ of places in Arunachal asserted that the state has “always been” and will “always be” an integral part of India.

Moreover, China once again claimed Arunachal to be its territory “since the ancient times”.

“It (Arunachal Pradesh) has been China’s territory since the ancient times,” Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said.
