Under the influence of a Western Disturbance, the Western Himalayan Region is likely to witness isolated rains on Thursday and Friday.
Another fresh Western Disturbance and its accompanying cyclonic circulation will bring fairly widespread to widespread snow/rain and thunderstorms over the Western Himalayan Region, The Weather Channel reported.
Further, a cyclonic circulation will be observed around Bangladesh and bring isolated to scattered showers or snowfall over Northeast and adjoining West Bengal and Bihar from Saturday to Monday.
During this period, fairly widespread snow or rain is likely to occur over Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim.
Meanwhile, cold air is likely to cover Northwest India on Saturday and spread to Northeast India from Sunday onward.
Fairly widespread rain/snow and thunderstorms are likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam on Friday.
Scattered showers with thunderstorms are forecast over Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura as well. Isolated rain/snow and thunderstorm are possible over Sikkim.
