Topcem Cement, one of the leading cement manufacturers in Northeast India, on Thursday launched an innovative product Solid Dhalai Cement (SDC) for individual house builders (IHB), and infrastructure & construction sectors for the Northeast region.
Meghalaya Cements Ltd chairman Kailash Chandra Lohia launched the Soild Dhalai Cement in the presence of the director of the company, Bajrang Lohia and the company’s other officials.
Commenting on the launch of this advanced offering, chairman Lohia expressed his confidence about the product and its attributes.
“For the first time, we are introducing a new premium product with higher strength, more coverage, faster setting along with anti-rust properties in BOPP bags which are spill, moisture and temper proof,” chairman Kailash Chandra Lohia said.
The revolutionary product with Mono-molecular Layer Technology has multiple benefits of superior strength with higher durability; better workability with increase cohesiveness, which prevents bleeding in concrete and thus achieving better finishing of concrete, he said.
The shorter final setting time helps masons in early removal of form works and quick construction, the company said Lohia.
Speaking on the occasion, director Bajrang Lohia said, “The basic need of any construction activity is to build a durable and long-lasting structure for which it is imperative to have a strong and durable concrete. And we are happy to introduce a product which will fulfil this need of the customers.”
This cement is made from high-quality clinker along with special additives which make the concrete highly strong and durable, the company said.
Topcem Solid Dhalai Cement (SDC) gives more coverage, higher strength, less cement consumption for targeted strength due to higher blaine and fineness. Anti-corrosive property is another special feature thus guarding against rusting of steel surface in concrete, the company said.
This premium product is packed in BOPP (Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene) bags which are tamper-proof and moisture-proof.
