Tocklai Tea Research Institute Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of one (01) Lab attendant under the Department of Agriculture & Farmer’s Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmer’s Welfare, Government of India funded
project at Analytical Services Department. The Tea Research Association, also popularly known as TRA Tocklai, is the oldest and the largest tea research institute globally which looks after the research and development needs of the Indian tea industry. It carries out and also promotes research on tea with the principal objective of improving overall productivity and quality. It is a pioneer in the research and development of tea and also an innovator in providing extension services to the tea industry. Research on all aspects of tea cultivation is carried out at Tocklai Tea Research Institute, Jorhat, Assam and at North Bengal R&D Centre, Nagrakata, West Bengal. The ten advisory branches of TRA look after 1100 large tea estates and more than 2,00,000 small tea growers. Its focus areas are sustainability, climate change adaptation, development of stress tolerant cultivars with high quality, improvement of tea quality and production of speciality teas, mechanization of field practices, reduction in costs, risk assessment, drip irrigation & fertigation, artificial intelligence, robotics in agriculture.

Essential Qualification: 12th Standard Pass
Desirable Experience: 1 year experience in Laboratory/Field work
Monthly Fellowship : Rs. 12262/- per month
Age Limit : Minimum 18 years & Maximum 30 years
