Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the temporary contractual position or career of System Engineer Grade I (Project Mode) in the Research & Development Section. Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, the sixth member of the IIT fraternity, was established in 1994. The academic programme of IIT Guwahati altogether commenced in 1995. At present the Institute also has altogether eleven departments, seven inter-disciplinary academic centres and five schools covering all the major engineering , science, healthcare, management and humanities disciplines. Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati’s campus is altogether on a sprawling 285 hectares plot of land on the north bank of the river Brahmaputra around 20 kms from the heart of the city Guwahati. IIT Guwahati is also the only academic institution in India that occupied a place among the top 100 world universities.

Qualification :
B.E/ B. Tech passed with 1st class in CS/IT with one-year experience or MCA with minimum two years’ experience in software development.
Required skills: Software development using Java (Spring framework), Knowledge of SQL, MariaDB, HTML, CSS, PHP, JSP, working experience in Unix OS, basic hardware and networking, basic Server Administration from reputed organizations.
