One of the escort vehicles of Assam Governor Jagadish Mukhi’s convoy met with an accident on NH-37 at Kaziranga on Tuesday evening.
The vehicle of the Governor’s convoy (No-AS-05, G-5080) was slightly damaged when a Swift Dezire collided head on with the vehicle near an NRL petrol pump in Kaziranga.
The Governor, who is on a tour to Kazirangan National Park (KNP), was not in the convoy, when the accident took place.
Police have seized the vehicle. No one was, however, injured in the accident, police sources said.
