National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Field Assistant for the DST-SERB sponsored project entitled “Development of a Vibration Isolation System using Boreholes Filled with Geosynthetic Encased Sand Rubber Mixture” in the Department of Civil Engineering. The duration of the project is 01 Year (Extendable based on satisfactory performance)

Essential Qualification : 3 years diploma in Civil Engineering or other relevant discipline
with excellent academic records from reputed recognized Institutes/Universities.

Desirable Experience : Research/industrial project experience in the field of Civil Engineering with experience in field testing/surveying, knowledge of use of MS Office.

Salary : Rs. 20,000/- p.m. + HRA @9% if the Institute Accommodation is not provided.

Age Limit : Below 50 years on the last date of application
