Bollywood actress Poonam Pandey is no more.
Poonam Pandey passed away at the age of only 32.
She died from cervical cancer.
Pandey was in her hometown of Kanpur at the time of her death.
“Details about her funeral are awaited,” Poonam Pandey’s public relations (PR) team informed.
It added, “This morning is a tough one for us. We are deeply saddened to inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer. Every living form that ever came in contact with her was met with pure love and kindness.”
In 2013, Pandey starred in ‘Nasha’, where she played a teacher who becomes romantically involved with a student.
Her performance was praised by Rediff for her seductive portrayal, while Mumbai Mirror noted her role was more of a genuine, conscientious drama teacher than a mere temptress.
Despite positive reviews, some critiques suggested there was room for improvement in her portrayal.
Apart from acting, Poonam is known for her bold and sensuous photoshoots.
She boasts a massive following on social media and where she often teases her followers with alluring pictures and a peek into her luxurious life.
Poonam rose to fame in 2011 when she vowed to strip for Team India if they win the ICC Cricket World Cup.
Poonam Pandey is also known for her stint in popular reality TV shows including Lock Upp, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 4 and Bigg Boss Season 7.
