COVID19 positive

Tripura has registered 26 more COVID19 cases on Monday.

Confirming the news, Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb in a tweet on Monday said a total of 2,463 samples were tested for COVID19 on Monday, out of which 26 were found positive for the virus.

“Out of 2463 samples tested for COVID19, 26 people found POSITIVE,” chief minister Deb tweeted.

The chief minister informed that out of the new positive cases, 12 cases have been reported from
West Tripura district, 5 cases have been reported from Sepahijala district while 3 cases have been detected in Khowai district.

Two cases each have been reported from South Tripura and Gomti districts and one each case has been reported from  North Tripura district and Dhalai district, the chief minister informed.

Meanwhile, 54 other patients, who were earlier infected by COVID19, have been discharged from various Covid Care Centres (CCCs) on Monday after they tested negative for the virus, the chief minister said.

“Also, I am happy to share that 54 COVID19 patients have been discharged from various CCCs after their test results came NEGATIVE,” chief minister Deb said.
