Justice Kurian Joseph addressing legislators and parliamentarians from Sikkim on December 8 in Gangtok.

Supreme Court judge Justice Kurian Joseph termed Sikkim a true model of secular India. He was addressing the luminaries from all the three pillars of democracy- the Legislative, the Executive and the Judiciary at Samaan Bhawan in Gangtok on Friday.

 “I congratulate Sikkim for being a true model of secular India,” Justice Kurian said.

Dwelling on the various components of the Constitution of India he said all are governed by the law and there is a law in place for everything.

Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Chamling along with Assembly Speaker KN Rai, Chief Justice of High Court of Sikkim Justice S.K Agnihotri, Deputy Speaker Sonam Gyatso Lepcha, chief secretary, DGP and High Court Judge Justice, Bhasker Pradhan were present on the occasion.
