The two-day Udalguri district level sports meet organized by Jwhlao Dwimalu Wushu Martial Sports Club and sponsored by Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) under the Ministry of Sports and Youths Welfare of Government of India concluded here at Udalguri stadium on Thursday.
The games played in the sports were football (boys), kabaddi (girls), shot put (boys), 100 metre 400 and 800 metre relay races for girls, 400, 800 and 1600 metre relay races for the boys.
The winners were presented trophies for football and kabaddi and gold, silver and bronze medals for the shot put and relay races where 150 selected students of the district participated.
Earlier, the sports meet was inaugurated by senior journalist Rewati Raman Sapkota.
The inaugural programme was attended by Secretary of Udalguri district Sports Association, Samuel Daimari, President of the Jwhlao Dwimalu Wushu Marial Art Club, Dhaneswar Basumatary among many others.
