Mizoram reported 1 more Covid19 death and 741 new positive cases in the last 24 hours.
With the demise of 1 more patient due to infection, the total number Covid19 deaths recorded in Mizoram increased to 396 on Thursday.
The positivity rate stood at 8.97% on Thursday.
While 125 cases were found positive during RT-PCR test at Zoram Medical College (ZMC) laboratory, 43 positive cases were detected during TrueNAT test, 558 cases during RAgT test and 15 cases were found positive during FIA.
With these cases, Mizoram has so far registered 1,15,207 positive cases.

Mizoram currently has a total of 10,263 active Covid19 cases.
Of the total active cases in Mizoram, Aizawl district has 5935 cases, Lunglei – 902, Siaha – 576, Champhai – 575, Kolasib – 295, Serchhip – 785, Lawngtlai – 484, Mamit – 463, Khawzawl – 44, Hnahthial – 156 and Saitual has 48 active cases.
According to the health bulletin released by the directorate of information & public relations, Mizoram, at 5 am on Wednesday, a total of 708 people recovered from the infection.
Of the recoveries, Aizawl district recorded 502, Hnahthial-56, Champhai-43, Lunglei-34, Mamit-34, Kolasib-24, Lawngtlai-15, Khawzawl-1 and Saitual recorded 1 case of recovery.
Mizoram’s recovery rate on Wednesday stood at 90.87%.
On Wednesday, Mizoram reported a total of 665 Covid19 positive cases and 2 deaths.
The number of active cases stood at 10,768 on Wednesday.
