While addressing a gathering on the occasion, Bordumsa MLA Somlung Mossang said, “Once I commit anyone for anything, I don’t leave mid-way.”

Mossang addressed a gathering of people of multiple communities thronged to accord felicitation to the fighter-boy of Bordumsa, who has remapped the position of Bordumsa and its people across the globe.

Jowkhum Dilli Singpho was formally received by Bordumsa ADC, Talo Jerang, Khachang Maio, ZPM Bordumsa, Jowkhong Singpho, the president of Singpho Development Society (SDS) and other dignitaries at the Assam-Arunachal border check gate with bouquets of flowers and traditional Singpho scarf and turbans.

ADC Bordumsa lauded the success of the fighter terming it as ‘unprecedented success of Bordumsa people including his proud Mother’.

“I was perplexed initially landing down the foreign soil thinking of the fight it would be; yet my determination to ‘do or die’ finally took me through and landed with the bronze in the MMA (GAMMA) Asian Championship 2021,” shared Dilli.

“I would keep struggling until I am settled with the gold in the future events,” said the confident fighter.
