In Kamrup Metro district, the Assam government has so far made eight Covid Care Centres, set up in various hospitals and educational institutes, operational.
These Covid Care Centre have been made operational by the Assam government and Covid19 positive patients are being provided treatment in these hospitals.
According to the National Health Mission (NHM), Assam, in Kamrup Metro district, Covid Care Centres have been set up in Gauhati Medical College & Hospital (GMCH) and Government Ayurvedic College & Hospital at Jalukbari.
Covid19 patients are also being treated at the Care Centre Centre at Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH), Kalapahar Covid Hospital, Sarusajai Covid Care Centre and Sonapur District Hospital.
Covid Care Centres have also been set up in Royal Global University and Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Borbari.
Meanwhile, the Assam government is also preparing Girijananda Institute of Management & Technology, Guwahati and the playground of College of Veterinary Science, Khanapara as Covid Care Centres.
In Kamrup, the Patanjali Covid Care Centre, Singimari District Covid Hospital, Kalitakuchi Covid Care Centre and MSME Covid Care Centre have become operation for treatment of Covid19 positive patients.
