The Nagaland government set up a temporary Covid vaccine centre at the state Civil Secretariat in Kohima on Monday to facilitate the employees of the secretariat to get the Covid-19 vaccine.

The centre will function at the VIP waiting room in the central block of the secretariat and will remain open from 9.30 am to 4 pm daily.

Nagaland health and family welfare department has urged all the officers and staff of the secretariat who are above 45 years of age and have not yet taken the Covid-19 vaccine to avail the opportunity to get vaccinated at the centre.

It has asked them to provide their contact number and produce a government identity card, driving license, passport, pan card, voter identity card or Aadhaar card in original at the centre for registering for the vaccination.

The department also urged them to continue following Covid-19 appropriate behaviour even after the vaccination.
