A job fair christened ‘Link 2018’ organized at Techno India Engineering College in Agartala witnessed placement recruitment for as many as 265 engineering graduates.
Out of these selected engineering graduates for recruitment, as many as 105 candidates are from Techno India Engineering College, Agartala while the remaining are from various engineering colleges of the north-eastern region.
Sources claimed that those who have got placement were offered lucrative pay package ranging from Rs 2.80 lakh to Rs 6 lakh.
Notably, this is the first batch of the Techno India Engineering College of Agartala.
The job fair was inaugurated by Tripura Legislative Assembly Speaker Rebati Mohan Das.
Some of the major and multinational companies that participated in the job fair included names like ‘Allsec’, ‘Enoah’, ‘Vertex’, ‘Ison’, ‘Technosoft’ and ‘Access Health care’.
Notably, this is for the first time in the state of Tripura that so many engineering graduates have been selected for jobs in their respective disciplines.
