A total of 164 students, who received coaching under the Oil India Super-30 initiative, have managed to get enrolled in different engineering colleges of the country.

64 of these students have secured admissions in the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs), while 90 students in national institutes of technology and 10 in other state engineering colleges.

In medical education, 21 of the 30 students under Oil India Super-30  got admission in different medical colleges and one student in the All India Institute of Medical Sciences.

“The basic concept of the Oil India Super-30 program is to keep the students focused and develop a result-oriented approach in preparing for different engineering and medical entrance examinations,” said an OIL official.on

Since 2010-11, 1060 students who attended coaching classes under the OIL initiative have secured admissions into various engineering colleges.

Since 2018-19, 39 students have secured admissions in different medical colleges.

A CSR initiative of OIL, the project provides free residential coaching to the underprivileged meritorious students, thus enabling them to secure admissions in premium medical and engineering colleges of the country.

The students are provided with residential coaching for eleven months at six centres in Guwahati, Jorhat, Dibrugarh, Nagaon, Itanagar in Arunachal Pradesh and Jodhpur in Rajasthan.
