Dimapur deputy commissioner Anoop Kinchi on Saturday directed the LPG Bottling Plant, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Chumukedima, to ensure sanitisation of all LPG cylinders and the vehicles on LPG distribution on duty for providing door to door delivery services of LPG cylinders to the public.
He also directed the officials transporting and distributing cylinders to mandatorily wear masks and maintain social distance.
Khinchi also convened a meeting of the District Task Force to discuss matters related to Covid-19 pandemic in Dimapur district at deputy commissioner’s conference hall on Monday.
He asked all concerned to attend the meeting.
Relief distribution: Hundreds of daily wage earners at Daklane colony in Kohima received relief rations on Saturday.
The Daklane Youth Organisation and Daklane panchayat members distributed rice and other essential commodities to more than 300 daily wage earners in the colony which was provided from Covid-19 relief distribution camp, Kohima.
The government has assured essential commodities to all those daily wage earners and migrants on account of covid-19 lockdown.
