A huge numbers of Christians from across Sikkim came together in the All Sikkim Christian Summit 2018 held on February 7 at Jorethang playground in South Sikkim. The summit was chaired by Chief Minister Pawan Chamling.

In his address, the chief minister assured to work on various demands placed in the summit. He said the people of Sikkim have been practicing the religion and belief of their choice without any fear. He said the government has created a democratic and secular environment for its people. He urged the people to continuously maintain the communal harmony and brotherhood in the state.

Pawan Chamling also spoke about the contributions and achievements of the government in various sectors. He encouraged youths to take full advantage of every opportunities created by the government for its people in the state.

On the occasion of All Sikkim Christian Summit, the chief minister was felicitated by the organizing committee on behalf of the all Christians of Sikkim for his exemplary leadership and works for the betterment of Sikkim and its people. The summit also witnessed the felicitation of Pastors of various churches of Sikkim.

All churches of Sikkim came together to host this mega and historic event for the first time in the state. Members of different churches from across the state attended the Summit.

The summit also witnessed presentations by 400-member choir team and by other Christian artists. An audio CD, Samarpan, was also released during the programme.
