Meghalaya chief minister Conrad Sangma has praised Raymond Nongkhlaw for winning the title of Mr. India 2019.
The Mr. & Miss India National Bodybuilding Competition 2019 was held at Cochin in Kerala recently.
The competition was organised by the NABBA/WFF.
Sharing pictures of Meghalaya bodybuilder Raymond winning the title, Conrad tweeted on Friday: “Congratulations Raymond Nongkhlaw for winning the prestigious title of Mr. India 2019 in Mr. & Miss India National Bodybuilding 2019 Competition” held at Cochin, Kerela.

According to media reports, the other winners in the competition are Donbor Rumnong – Mr. India 2019 Overall Champion (Men’s Physique); Esther Zaleen Tariang – winner of 2nd position in Miss India 2019 (Bikini Model).
Bicky Rose Kynta secured 2nd position in Miss India 2019 (Fitness Mom) and Pyndapbor Dkhar won 4th place in the Teenage Body Building (under 18 yrs).
Rajib Deka was placed first in Men’s Bodybuilding (Fitness).
In Men’s Bodybuilding (Performance), Prosanto Basumatari secured the 5th place.
Raymond Nongkhlaw won the title of Mr. Meghalaya 2017 in the 14th Annual Mr. Meghalaya Bodybuilding and 1st Miss Fitness and 1st Men’s Physique competition held on December 9, 2017.
The competition was organized by the Meghalaya Body Building and Fitness Association (MBBFA), under the aegis of the World Amateur Body Building Association (WABBA), India.
The bodybuilding event in Meghalaya was joined by 22 participants in the body building event and 19 participants joined the completion for men’s physique title.
