The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya during the next 24 hours.

“Heavy rainfall at isolated places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Saurashtra and Kutch, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura,” the IMD stated in its All India Weather Warning Bulletin.

Thunderstorm accompanied by lightning very likely at isolated places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.

Even www.skymetweather.com has also predicted heavy rainfall in the northeast during the next 24 hours. It reported about a cyclonic circulation over East Assam.
