In one of the most shocking and shameful incidents that have happened in recent times, the eight-month-old daughter of Indian cricket team captain and batting legend Virat Kohli, has been receiving rape threats.
Virat Kohli has been subjected to abuse online ever since India lost its match against Pakistan in the ongoing T20 World Cup.
Hate comments against Virat Kohli’s daughter started flooding social media after the Indian captain spoke against trolling team India pacer Mohammed Shami, who was targeted over his religion after the loss to Pakistan.
“Attacking someone over their religion is the most pathetic thing one can do as a human,” Virat Kohli told reporters.

Meanwhile, the Delhi Commission for Women has issued a notice to Delhi Police over online rape threats to the daughter of Virat Kohli and Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma.
“This is a very serious matter and attracts immediate action,” the DCW said in a letter to the deputy commissioner of Delhi Police (Cyber Crime).
Meanwhile, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has come out in support of the Indian cricket team captain.
“Dear Virat, These people are filled with hate because nobody gives them any love. Forgive them. Protect the team,” Rahul Gandhi tweeted.
