During his campaign for party candidates at Kurti Kadamtala, Bagpasha and Dharmanagar constituencies in Tripura, Assam Finance, Education Minister and BJP leader Himanta Biswa Sarma asked the electorate to vote for the BJP so that development can bloom in the State in a new way under a new government.

For the first time BJP leader Sarma along with BJP’s MLA from Assam’s Jagiroad constituency Pijush Hazarika arrived in the North Tripura district to campaign for the BJP candidates ahead of the Tripura Assembly elections 2018.

Tripura is going to Assembly polls on February 18.

On arrival in North Tripura district, Sarma, who is also the North-East Democratic Alliance (NEDA) convenor along with Pijush Hazarika campaigned on behalf of the BJP candidates in Kurti Kadamtala, Bagpasha and Dharmanagar constituencies.

A large number of people gathered at the venues of the public meetings showing their support towards the BJP and their candidates.

The slogan of ‘Chalo Paltai’ has hit the ambience as the supporters have raised their voice in support of the BJP leaders who have urged the voters to bring a change with their valuable votes in the upcoming 2018 Tripura Assembly elections.

Addressing the gatherings, BJP leader Sarma, who is also in charge of a poll observer in Tripura, said, “Time has come to oust the CPI-M from the State and let development bloom in the State in a new way.”

Urging the electorate to vote for in favour of the BJP candidates, the Assam Finance Minister also said that the saffron party should be given a chance to form a new government and rule the State for bringing development in all sectors.

Appealing to the voters to vote for party candidates, Sarma on his Twitter handle on Wednesday stated, “I am very confident of BJP’s Tripura candidate Biswa Bandhu Sen, who has worked very hard in Dharamnagar constituency. I appeal to all to ensure that BJP candidates win with very high margins.”

“Let’s vow to forever diminish shadow of darkness from Tripura,” he further tweeted.
