Hollywood star Jennifer Aniston has urged her fans to help India as COVID-19 infections have swept the country during the second wave of the pandemic. 

Jennifer Aniston took to her Instagram stories to shared several messages for her fans as she urged them to lend a helping hand towards India in its fight against COVID-19. 

Aniston’s first story read: “A severe second wave of coronavirus infections has swept over India, setting global records for new infections each day over the past five days.” 

In her second story, the ‘Friends’ actor said that Americares “is raising money for immediate relief aid for India”. She also shared the link details in the same story. 

Americares is a global non-profit organisation that focuses on health and development that respond to individuals affected by poverty, disaster, or crisis. 

 In her third story, Aniston said one doesn’t have to donate to help. 

“Spread the word with whatever platform you have to help build awareness,” Aniston said.

India’s COVID-19 scenario continues to be grim.  

As many as 3780 COVID-19 deaths have been reported in India in the last 24 hours.  

This is the highest ever daily fatalities recorded in India.  

This has pushed the total fatalities in India up to 2,26,188.  

Moreover, as many as 3,82,315 more people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
