With COVID-19 cases rising in the country, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday said that he was tested COVID-19 positive and has isolated himself.

Kejriwal after being tested positive home-isolated himself and has asked everyone who had come in contact with him to get themselves tested and isolate them.

The Chief Minister in a tweet said, “I have tested positive for Covid. Mild symptoms. Have isolated myself at home. Those who came in touch with me in the last few days, kindly isolate yourself and get yourself tested.”

It may be mentioned, Delhi reported 4,099 new COVID-19 cases in Monday with a positivity rate of 6.46 per cent.

At least 6,288 COVID-19 patients and suspected cases are in home isolation.

India on Monday reported 33,950 cases which is 22 per cent more than the previous day.

123 deaths were also recorded while the number of Omicron cases rose to 1700.

As of Tuesday, the active case count in India stands at 1,45,582.
