Two Chennai-based journalists on Sunday tested positive for coronavirus, after almost a month the first case was reported in Tamil Nadu on March 8.
The two journalists respectively work for a Tamil daily as a reporter and a Tamil news television channel as a sub-editor.
The reporter has been admitted to the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital.
The sub-editor has been admitted to the Government Stanley Hospital and doctors informed that both are in stable condition.
Authorities are trying to trace their contacts and the containment measures in their respective areas are also on.
