Former Indian cricketer and BJP MP Gautam Gambhir has allegedly received third threat e-mail from “ISIS Kashmir”. 

Gautham Gambhir receiving threat e-mails from ISIS Kashmir was confirmed by Delhi Police on Sunday morning. 

Notably, in the threat e-mail, Delhi police has also been mentioned. 

“BJP MP Gautam Gambhir has received a third threat e-mail from ‘ISIS Kashmir’. Delhi Police has also been mentioned in the mail,” the Delhi police said.

Earlier on November 23, BJP MP and former India cricketer Gautam Gambhir had filed a complaint with Delhi Police alleging that he had received death threats from ISIS Kashmir. 

The mail sent to the vocal BJP MP read: “We are going to kill you and your family.” 

Meanwhile, security has been beefed up at the residence of Gautam Gambhir in Delhi’s Rajendra Nagar area. 

In 2019, former cricketer Gautam Gambhir was elected as the Lok Sabha MP from east Delhi on a BJP ticket.

Gambhir represented India in cricket at the international level for 15 years. 

The former cricketer-turned-politician alleged that the threats were sent to him via his email ID.
