The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a 20-member India squad for the World Test Championship final against New Zealand. 

India will lock horns against New Zealand in the World Test Championship final to be played at Southampton from June 18-22. 

The 20-member squad marks the return of star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and batsman Hanuma Vihari. 

Mohammed Shami is also set return to action for India.

Meanwhile, Opener Prithvi Shaw failed to book a berth in the 20-member squad. 

Spinner Kuldeep Yadav and pacer Navdeep Saini have also been left out of India’s Test squad. 

“The All-India Senior Selection Committee has picked the Indian squad for the inaugural ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final and the five-match Test series against England,” the BCCI said in a statement. 

Meanwhile, KL Rahul, who recently underwent a surgery after being diagnosed with appendicitis, and Wriddhiman Saha, who is infected with COVID-19 during the recently-suspended IPL, have been included subject to their fitness clearance.
