Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan has been admitted to the hospital after he tested positive for Covid19.

Biswabhusan Harichandan has been admitted to AIG Hospitals in Hyderabad, according to the press secretary of the Andhra Pradesh Governor.

According to a medical bulletin published in the evening, the Andhra Pradesh Governor has been evaluated by a multidisciplinary team and his condition was clinically stable with normal oxygen saturation at room air.

The bulletin said, based on CT findings and previous history of comorbidities, the Governor has been diagnosed with moderate COVID19.

The Governor is being closely monitored by a team of experts, said the bulletin.

The press secretary of the Governor in a statement said Biswabhusan Harichandan suffered a minor illness after his return from New Delhi last week.

The Governor’s press secretary said: “An RT-PCR test was conducted as a precaution as the Governor complained of cough and cold.”

The Andhra Pradesh Governor was diagnosed with COVID19 on November 15, 2021.

The Governor was taken to Hyderabad by a special flight on Wednesday morning and admitted to the AIG Hospitals.
