The restaurant, which was launched on Valentine’s Day this year, is located on the National Highway 44, on the outskirts of Karnal.

The franchise was given to Delhi-based businessman Pramod Kumar.

Dharmendra, who is popularly known as the He-Man of Bollywood, recently through the social networking site Instagram announced the launch of his new restaurant at Karnal.

After the launch of the restaurant on the Valentine’s Day, Dharmendra announced on Instagram: “Dear friends, after the success of my restaurant “Garam Dharam Dhaba” now I’m announcing a first ever Farm to Fork restaurant called “He Man”, friends, I truly appreciate your love, respect and belonging towards me. love you all…your Dharam.”

After playing several successful roles in his life as an actor, producer, and politician, the 84-year-old Bollywood actor came up with his second venture in the restaurant business.

As per the Facebook page of ‘He-Man’ restaurant, it offered ‘Ghar Ka Swaad’ through the dishes.

Karnal deputy commissioner and MC commissioner Nishant Kumar Yadav reportedly said the action was taken as the restaurant owner failed to reply to the notice served by the Municipal Corporation on the issue.

A media report quoted Yadav as saying: “On January 15, we had orders to seal seven such properties under MC limit, but owners of four properties moved court and one of them had given an affidavit with the municipal corporation and later applied for the certificate.”

The district administrative head of Karnal also said the owners of the “two properties including ‘He-Man’ did not reply to the MC notice nor applied for the certificate” due to which the authorities sealed their properties.
